डोईवाला_ देहरादून के बीच लच्छी वाला टोल प्लाजा पर लगातार हो रहे एक्सीडेंट को देखते हुए आज टोल प्लाजा को हटाने की मांग को लेकर बड़ा प्रदर्शन कांग्रेस और राष्ट्रवादी रीजनल पार्टी ने किया।
टोल प्लाजा पर हुए प्रदर्शन में पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री हरीश रावत ने भी शिरकत की और कांग्रेस के आंदोलन को समर्थन देते हुए कहा कि सरकार को इस टोल प्लाजा को हटाने के लिए कार्य करना चाहिए।
परवा दून कांग्रेस जिला अध्यक्ष मोहित उनियाल, राष्ट्रवादी रीजनल पार्टी के संयोजक शिव प्रसाद सेमवाल और टैक्सी यूनियन जोली ग्रांट के अध्यक्ष महेंद्र भारती के साथ तमाम लोगों ने कहा कि लच्छी वाला टोल प्लाजा पर लोकल लोगों से अवैध रूप से टोल टैक्स की बसूली की जाती है जबकि इस जगह पर हाथियों का आवागमन भी होता है और अब यह टोल प्लाजा दुर्घटनाओं का कारण बन गया है इसलिए जनहित में इस टोल प्लाजा को यहां से हटाकर अन्यत्र स्थापित किया जाए।
