बहुचर्चित अंकिता भंडारी हत्याकांड मामले में आखिरकार अदालत का फैसला आ गया है। कोटद्वार स्थित एडीजे कोर्ट ने मुख्य आरोपी पुलकित आर्य समेत उसके दो साथियों सौरभ भास्कर और अंकित गुप्ता को हत्या के मामले में दोषी करार दिया है। कोर्ट ने तीनों को भारतीय दंड संहिता की धाराएं 302, 201 और 354 के तहत दोषी पाते हुए उम्रकैद की सजा सुनाई है। इसके साथ ही अदालत ने तीनों आरोपियों पर 50-50 हजार रुपये का जुर्माना भी लगाया है। यही नहीं, अदालत ने मृतक अंकिता के परिजनों को चार लाख रुपये की सहायता राशि देने का भी आदेश दिया है। फैसले के दौरान अदालत परिसर के बाहर भारी भीड़ जुटी थी। लोगों में इस मामले को लेकर भारी आक्रोश था। फैसले से ठीक पहले भीड़ ने पुलिस द्वारा की गई बैरिकेडिंग तोड़ने की भी कोशिश की और न्यायालय की ओर बढ़ने लगी। स्थिति को नियंत्रित करने के लिए पुलिस को कड़ी मशक्कत करनी पड़ी।
